Is it fate or coincidence? Who knows? Since 1995, Branka Lugonja has enjoyed working with glass. This transparent material has been a central part of her professional life, and has opened new horizons, brought both challenges and joys and thus shaped her artistic journey for 30 years.
In this talk, Branka shares her story of how her passion for glass began, why it still drives her, and what she has learned along the way. With a look at both the past and the future, participants get a unique insight into Branka's life with glass and her wishes development continues..
After the lecture, the participants will be invited to a tour of Branka's glass workshop, where she will explain her work processes, techniques, show kiln rooms, demonstrate different ways of lighting glass — and of course answer questions.
At the end, coffee and cake will be served and participants will have the opportunity to explore the gallery where they can see glass art as well as other works on display.
